- ➤ A semi-truck caught fire on I-75 southbound early this morning as emergency crews battled a large blaze that slowed traffic and led to an explosion visible on traffic cameras (official details are still pending). News Channel 9

- ➤ UAW members protested today outside the Chattanooga Volkswagen plant over sudden changes that cut shifts and reduce staff set to begin on March 31 — the union filed federal labor charges, saying the changes were made without proper talks with workers. - ➤ A Tennessee Silver Alert is issued for 71-year-old Alvin Clemons, last seen on March 13 in Ooltewah wearing a Baylor University sweatshirt and blue jeans while walking with a slight limp in his right leg and believed to be in a black 2015 Ford Explorer Limited with Tennessee tag 53AI88, and authorities ask anyone with information to call the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office. - ➤ Chattanooga Preparatory School told families and staff that Hamilton County Schools is starting the process to end its charter after finding licensing issues and an arrest of a former teacher on serious charges—school officials said that classes and activities will continue as planned while a review of hiring practices is underway.
