- ➤ A multiple-vehicle crash on Ringgold Road near the East Ridge U-Haul yesterday damaged a large propane tank and forced evacuations—firefighters are keeping it wet as drivers are told to use other routes. Local 3 News
- ➤ On Tuesday night, a 60-year-old man died after being struck by a vehicle on East 17th Street in Chattanooga—police said he was walking in dark clothing when a Chevrolet Silverado turned from South Lyerly Street and hit him, and officials are investigating the incident. - ➤ FBI agents and local police raided Rick Davis Gold and Diamonds on Brainerd Road Wednesday morning—responding to customer complaints of undelivered gold and allegations of passing worthless checks and theft—and searched suitcases, vehicles, and Davis’s home on Missionary Ridge as the store faces additional legal trouble.
