ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A 55-year-old bicyclist was hit on Friday at the 4400 block of Oakhill Road and Sterchi Drive when he rode in front of a Nissan — he was taken to a hospital and later pronounced dead while the car's driver and passenger received treatment for minor injuries. Chattanooga Times Free Press

- ➤ The USGS reported a magnitude 4.1 earthquake early this morning—20 kilometers southeast of Greenback—that shook parts of Tennessee and Western North Carolina. Emergency services say the quake did not cause major damage and they are monitoring for aftershocks. News Channel 9

- ➤ The Hamilton County Principal Association sent a letter to the Hamilton County Commission and the Chattanooga City Council asking for more funding for schools to better serve students.
