- ➤ Chattanooga drivers should plan for road closures as the city announced that 504 S. Watkins Street will be closed June 11 to June 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 2910 E. 37th Street will be closed June 12 to June 19, and flaggers will guide traffic on Frazier Ave’s 000 and 400 blocks from June 16 to June 20—work that may cause delays. - ➤ Two Chattanooga Police Department K9 teams competed in the USPCA Region 22 K9 Trials last week against about 40 other teams—Officer Winkelman with K9 Diesel earned first place in the Suspect Boxes Search and Officer Gerity with K9 Sully earned second place in the Narcotics Vehicle Search.
