- ➤ A Soddy Daisy family lost their home to a fire around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 15 — the blaze also claimed the lives of the family's two cats and officials say the cause remains unknown. Local 3 News

- ➤ Chattanooga Police arrested Tristan Cooper after his girlfriend and her father called 911 on Saturday, alleging he beat her with a broken bed frame piece and dragged her by her shirt, and he later crashed his blue Chevrolet Tahoe into a telephone pole on Glenwood Drive while evading arrest. - ➤ Heavy rains flooded Bonnaroo, leaving a muddy field with scattered debris that stranded concert-goers and vendors while volunteers from (Chattanooga's Gear Closet) began cleanup after the festival was canceled on its second day. The cleanup crew will head back to Manchester today at 8:30 a.m. to recruit more help. Local 3 News

- ➤ Officials report that more than half of water samples from Northwest Georgia exceed EPA PFAS limits—tests show levels over 8,000 parts per trillion—2,000 times the allowed limit.
