- ➤ Hamilton County Schools announced new leadership for the 2025 to 2026 school year by naming Daniel Lunt as the new Hixson High principal and promoting several team members to lead key departments in student supports, exceptional education, communications, and data research. Lunt brings more than 25 years of public education experience from roles in Idaho and California and will work with staff to boost academic success and school culture—efforts that align with Opportunity 2030 priorities.
