  • Chattanooga is hosting a busy week of events—art exhibits, film series, live music, comedy shows and community markets—to engage local residents at venues like the public library, arts galleries and theaters.   • At its June meeting, the Holston Conference passed a resolution to oppose Christian nationalism—stating that patriotism differs from a blending of church and state—and pledged to educate members on its dangers.   • New research shows that too much screen time may affect young children's brain growth, with studies linking excessive solo use to lower white matter volume & difficulties with language and self-regulation.
