- ➤ East Ridge police arrested Shawn Unrah and Miranda Gifford after a routine traffic stop near Bachman Tunnels led officers to search a home on Ringgold Road, where they found meth, marijuana, and firearms—Gifford faces meth possession charges while Unrah is charged with selling controlled substances and a firearm offense. - ➤ The Hamilton County School Board ended its 10-year partnership with Centerstone after a narrow 6—5 vote, drawing criticism from students, parents, and some board members who fear the impact on student mental health. - ➤ A Tennessee transportation official said new federal guidelines may let the state restart $21 million in contracts to install EV chargers that have been frozen since February.
