- ➤ Darold Greg Love, former owner of Whitwell Dairy Bar, was arrested in Sequatchie County on charges of sexual abuse of a minor and sex assault dating back to November 2021—his daughter Valerie, 43, has spent 25 years searching for more victims and urges anyone in Tennessee to come forward before his trial in October begins. - ➤ A Hamilton County man named Ernest Verlane Ginn was arrested for forging checks and overcharging two elderly women for lawn services on Orchard Valley Road — an affidavit shows he altered check amounts from $60 to $600 that cleared between June 2024 and May 2025. News Channel 9
- ➤ A Chattanooga man was charged after drugs and a stolen handgun were found in his home on Rubio Street Friday during a search by Hamilton County Sheriff's Office—detectives also detained a teenage boy and recovered multiple drugs, scales and other items, while McDuffy faces charges including drug possession for resale, unlawful weapon possession, evidence tampering and child endangerment.
