- ➤ Chattanooga Police Department team won a softball tournament at AT&T Field on Sunday evening—teams of first responders raised funds for the Forgotten Child Fund and YMCA Y-Cap to support local kids. News Channel 9

- ➤ Road closures will begin at 8 a.m. Tuesday as downtown streets including Georgia Ave—M.L. King Blvd—and Market St become part of the International Bluegrass Music Association World of Bluegrass event, which runs through Saturday. - ➤ City Council member Dennis Clark said Chattanooga will choose a new site for a senior center to move seniors out of the Glenwood facility by the end of 2025, following the closure of Eastgate two years ago. - ➤ Federal tax credits were awarded to support the Westside Evolves project that will replace aging public housing at College Hill Courts with a new 144-unit apartment building set to begin construction early next year. Forty-six percent of the one- and two-bedroom units will be reserved for current residents making 40% or less of the area's median income—ensuring rents do not exceed 30% of adjusted gross income.
