- ➤ The Incline Railway in Chattanooga will offer a $1.30 round-trip fare on November 16 to mark its 130th anniversary, replacing the usual $22 fare. - ➤ A small refrigerator sparked an early morning fire at Avondale Head Start on Ocoee Street today and firefighters arrived at 6:27 a.m.—the blaze was under control by 6:40 a.m. with no injuries as investigators believe the accident was unintentional. Local 3 News

- ➤ The Chattanooga Public Library will host a free event called Culture on 4: A Conversation with Megan Ledbetter, featuring Tom Lee, on Saturday, October 4 at 6:00pm at the Downtown Library.
